David Dvorkin
David Dvorkin is a Marketing Account Executive by day and a social entrepreneur by night. By day, he is currently the #1 new business biller in all of 77 WABC Radio. He has designed digital, radio, or television marketing campaigns for more than 25 prominent CEO’s or marketing executives across the country.
At night, David is starting a revolution to change the way we think about and choose our careers. When 70% of individuals 10 years out of college feel that they have settled for a career that they are not passionate about, we have a problem on our hands. (Spadafore, Now What? p.12).
He is the founder of CreateYourNewFuture.com, a new website dedicated to helping students find work they love and to making it easier for future generations to pursue meaningful careers. He has been a guest speaker at the NYU Wasserman Career Center and has attracted business leaders, authors, and students alike to focus on furthering this mission.
Anthony A. Spadafore, director of Pathfinders, has over 15 years experience and thousands of clients under his belt as a career consultant in private practice in Washington, DC metropolitan area. Anthony designs and delivers cutting edge career change coaching and aptitude testing programs, career choice workshops, and provides advanced training and mentoring for career coaches. Anthony is the coauthor of the new career book for young professionals: Now What? A Young Person’s Guide to Choosing the Perfect Career (May 2008, Simon & Schuster), and regularly writes The Careerologist blog, where he discusses ways to improve career decisions through the lens of the latest discoveries in evolutionary psychology, sociobiology and brain science.
Margo Aaron’s work exists at the intersection of psychology, writing, and media. With a passion for making change, Aaron is committed to bringing attention to psychological issues related to privilege and affluence. To this end, Aaron has witnessed many capable young adults enter into unhappy careers without a thought as to why, a problem she claims is unique to children of privilege.
Aaron spent two years working clinically with depression and anxiety disorders and is currently working towards her masters in developmental psychology at Columbia University. She has been writing professionally since 2005 with publications in print, online, and in academic journals.
Pezro
Pezro is a filmmaker, photographer, writer, and traveler. He started working on New Fu in 2008 and is an advisor and sometime contributor. His film and photo work can be seen here: raythecook.com. He is currently living the Ex-Pat life in Buenos Aires, working as a tour guide, and occasionally writing and shooting for The Argentimes.
